Hi there! My name is Cheyenne Johnson, and this is my second year serving as Campus Minister for the Butler Catholic Community! I grew up all over but have called Indiana home for the past 13 years. I am a Butler Alum (Go Dawgs!) and I studied Music, Elementary Education, and Chinese in college. While at Butler I was involved with the BCC, leading a Bible study, serving on retreats, and planning outreach events. After college I had the opportunity to work at St. Paul Catholic Center at IU as a Campus Ministry intern, where I focused on retreats and liturgy. Working with the Dominican friars at IU was a great joy, and helped nurture my call to serve the Lord in a more intentional way. I love playing the flute, sewing, reading, baking, going on picnics in scenic locations, and spontaneously jumping into any nearby body of water. I am passionate about Padre Pio, bread, yellow roses, and that there is no such thing as a “breakfast food.” I am so excited to be back on campus serving the Catholic Community! Please do not hesitate to drop by my office or shoot me a call/text. I look forward to meeting you all soon!
